about

Flutist, composer, and band leader Elsa Nilsson has explored unlikely connections among human nature's tendencies, contradiction and pluralism, and the natural world. Her most recent release, "Liminal" with "Band Of Pulses" consisting of Rodrigo Recabarren (drums), Santiago Leibson (piano), and Marty Kenney (bass), explores the shifting states involved in major life changes and has received rave reviews from Downbeat (4 stars), All About Jazz and more.
