ABOUT

Jimetta Rose's MettaSun is an invitation to step through a spiritual portal into a planet full of sound and possibility. MettaSun is inspired by the cosmic teachings of Sun Ra, yet fully reimagined through Rose's own lens. One moment, you’re here on Earth, the next you’re somewhere luminous and governed by imagination. Rose is also renowned for founding The Voices of Creation, her choir-centered project rooted in joy and healing. MettaSun, is a return of focus to solo work and a proclamation of authorship, not only as a singer-songwriter, but as a producer, arranger, and world-builder.
