Keyboardist Sam Fribush is on the frontlines of the Hammond organ revival. Hailing from Greensboro, NC, recent organ trio albums ‘People Please', 'Another Side of the Sound' and ‘Blue Collar Jazz’ have established Fribush as one of the Atlantic Coast’s freshest young bandleaders and collaborators. Sam Fribush Organ Trio showcases the voice of a vintage Hammond organ, alongside blues guitarist Will Darity and drummer Chuck Pinckney. “My intention is to take this music into the future,” Fribush says. "I’m trying to expand the rules about what organ trios can do.”
