Instant Alter

INSTANT ALTER (@instantalter) is the new Future Fusion group led by saxophonist Emilio Modeste and vocalist Natasha Agrama. Their self-titled debut album — produced in tandem with Stanley Clarke and Lenny White — released September 26th. It fearlessly genre-bends covers and original compositions, along with uniquely curated special guests like Clarke, Kassa Overall, and more. 

In a world full of one-dimensional and referential musical stylings, INSTANT ALTER cuts through the noise with an extremely fresh and cinematic sound that blends jazz, rock, soul, and the celebratory spirit of the Brazilian Tropicália movement. Through their brave mixture of vastly different styles, INSTANT ALTER establishes themselves as one of the future sounds of jazz. The unconventional line-up of voice, saxophone, bass, and drums exemplifies this new journey.
